Holistic therapies have been my passion since I began working as health and fitness journalist on national magazines around twenty five years ago. In the mid ‘90s, I trained to be a holistic practitioner and have ITEC qualifications in Holistic Massage, Aromatherapy and Indian Head Massage, and an AOR qualification in Reflexology. I am also trained in Hopi Ear Candling and Ayurvedic Massage. I am a member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists and registered with the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) which plays a vital role in setting standards in our industry.
I have been a complementary therapy volunteer at St Wilfrid's Hospice in Chichester since 2000 and have specialist training in working with people with cancer and those receiving palliative care. Many of my clients have been touched by cancer in some way and find that complementary therapy offers great comfort and support.
After two years setting up and working in the complementary therapy education department at St Wilfrid’s Hospice and teaching at Chichester College of Further Education, I decided to set up my own training venture offering accredited CPD courses and workshops for trained therapists and beginners. This is now a successful venture built on offering small classes and a very supportive atmosphere. Do look at my website to find out more about my treatments and classes.
