OSTEOPATHY AND CRANIO-SACRAL OSTEOPATHY
Osteopathy is a medical discipline based on manual diagnosis and treatment of the human body.
The ‘techniques’ are the ‘body’ of Osteopathy. They allow medical science and the artful approach towards a patient to be channelled into a manual treatment that removes the obstacles that impede normal movement. Using a variety of techniques to aid natural healing by promoting excellent blood and nerve supplies Osteopathy thereby changes the natural structure and function of the body, anywhere in the body.
The techniques that are employed range from manipulation of the joints (sometimes accompanied by a clicking noise that is NOT painful), massage techniques of various kinds, articulation – stretching and mobilising techniques, cranio-sacral techniques, etc. Each treatment is individually put together in the moment for ultimate benefit.

The treatments are for most illnesses and conditions using holistic manual therapy. This is gentle and case-specific to the person’s current / past trauma or shock. I also treat animals.

Gayle works three days a week at the Living Elements Clinic in Sidlesham – a centre of excellence for complementary health care – and also two half-days a week at her other practice in Birdham.
Since qualifying in 1991 Gayle’s two practices have flourished mainly on word-of-mouth referrals due to her skills at seeing the “whole picture” with her clients and taking action to help their WHOLE health accordingly.
